Stadium Design and Construction
Opening Day Partners provides stadium design, construction and operation management to numerous communities, in addition to providing such services to our own ballparks. Our three most recent ballparks alone represent nearly $100 million in construction projects. Our projects include:

Clipper Magazine Stadium,
constructed on a former rail yard in an industrial section of downtown Lancaster, Pa., was designed with its surroundings in mind. Built facing a number of prominent factory buildings in the city's northwest corner (a smaller-scale homage to Camden Yards in Baltimore), the facade is brick accented by steel beams and industrial-like siding that links the ballpark to its surroundings. Inside, the ballpark features a barn-like picnic pavilion and suites named after well-known Lancaster County landmarks.
Regency Furniture Stadium,
in fast-growing Waldorf, Md., is one of the most unique ballpark designs in America. The suburban ballpark draws inspiration from the historic tobacco barns prominent in the area's former landscape, and from a distance it can be hard to distinguish between the two. Inside, the ballpark features luxury suite-level seating closer to home plate than in any other professional baseball stadium.
Sovereign Bank Stadium,
in York, Pa., fits in as part of the city center, yet also features a spacious plaza which pays homage to one of baseball's greatest players. Brooks Robinson began his professional career with the York White Roses and is now immortalized with a life-sized statue in a plaza that bears his name. Other unique features to the ballpark include a 37'8"-tall "Arch Nemesis" wall in left field (which draws its name from Arch Street just below) that is six inches taller than Fenway Park's famed "Green Monster" and features a similar manual scoreboard.
